Drum launched by waste destruction

A small amount of trichloroacetyl chloride waste remained in a drum, a small quantity of water was added to destroy the compound.  The drum flew 100m.

The correct way would be use use dry steam as the reagent, this will not only add the water more slowly, and prevent a build up, the increased temperature will assist in an instant reaction, and stop accumulation.
